Wizards Discussed Transforming Planeswalkers for March of the Machine Aftermath

Mark Rosewater said Wizards discussed making desparked planeswalkers transforming double-faced cards for *March of the Machine: Aftermath*. He said so on November 5 in a Blogatog reply to someone asking whether planeswalkers could have a planeswalker face on the front and a desparked face on the back. That front-and-back pairing came from the question; Rosewater confirmed the discussion but did not describe specific cards or how they would transform. His reply was about a past design conversation, not a plan to use the idea in a future set. He did not say why it was not used in Aftermath.
