Late Card-File Changes Can Add Mistakes, Rosewater Says

Mark Rosewater recalled that Wizards once had to resend a file to a printer after a last-minute change, in a November 4 Blogatog post. He was answering a fan who asked how late he had changed a design file, including whether he had edited a card on the day it went to the printer. Rosewater said Wizards makes changes that late very infrequently because they can introduce more mistakes into the system. He did not name the set, card or change. The post describes that as a risk, not as an error caused by the resend.
