Grixis Elementals Reaches a Standard Challenge Top Eight at 3-3

Xsper finished eighth at 3-3 with Elementals in the 31-player Standard Challenge 16 on November 5, 2026, MTGO’s published results show. We see a curiosity rather than a breakout: bless_von’s Sacrifice won their quarterfinal 2-1.

The list runs 4 copies each of Ashling, Rekindled, Deceit and Ajani Unrelenting. Two-mana Ashling, Rekindled filters a card, then transforms to generate mana for spells costing 4 or more, helping reach those six-mana threats. Deceit offers early bounce or discard through evoke; Ajani Unrelenting turns loyalty activations into tokens. Xsper also plays 3 The Theorist, Jace Beleren, absent from the 1 other Elementals list published in the past 6 weeks. DeckScout’s earlier results include ninth on October 20, 2026, and 25th on October 23, 2026.
