Omegauo took Dimir Elementals to second place in the 30-player Standard Challenge 16 on November 4, 2026, according to MTGO’s published Standard results. A day earlier, Ketofol’s Jeskai Midrange, tabunghasisi’s Sewer-Cam Combo and Cirxi’s Saga Storm occupied 3 spots in the Legacy Challenge top 8, although Cirxi’s deck carries a misleading Blue Artifacts label.

Ketofol’s Jeskai Midrange Skips Tamiyo, Inquisitive Student

Ketofol finished fifth in the 50-player November 3 Legacy Challenge 32, with MTGO listing a 6-1 record. The playoff ended immediately: tabunghasisi’s Sewer-Cam Combo won their quarterfinal 2-0.

Ketofol’s complete Jeskai Midrange main deck and sideboard from November 3, 2026.

Back to BasicsWe read this as a control build despite the Midrange label. Its 19 lands include 7 basics to support Back to Basics, while 2 Forth Eorlingas! turn accumulated mana into a hasty attack that can claim the monarch. The interaction package includes 4 Force of Will, 3 Force of Negation and 4 Swords to Plowshares.

Stock UpThe clearest departure is 2 Stock Up and no Tamiyo, Inquisitive Student. All 28 other Jeskai Midrange lists in the preceding 6-week sample played Tamiyo, Inquisitive Student; none played Stock Up. For 3 mana, Stock Up takes 2 cards from the top 5, fitting a list that wants to keep finding resources rather than commit an early creature.

Chandra, Chill of ComplianceThe other uncommon choices are 2 Chandra, Chill of Compliance, 1 The Theorist, Jace Beleren, 2 Teferi, Time Raveler, 3 Lórien Revealed and 1 Mystic Sanctuary. Those choices make Ketofol’s exact configuration more distinctive than the archetype name suggests.

Sewer-Cam Combo Has a Mill Finish and an Attack Plan

Grinding Stationtabunghasisi finished fourth at 5-3, following the win over Ketofol with a 1-2 semifinal loss to TomJubarte’s Sneak and Show. This version combines artifact recursion with a Grinding Station finish rather than relying entirely on combat.

tabunghasisi’s complete Sewer-Cam Combo list from the November 3 Legacy Challenge.

Emry, Lurker of the LochEmry, Lurker of the Loch, Goblin Welder and Goblin Engineer reuse the artifacts. Sewer-veillance Cam costs 1 mana and can untap a creature when it enters or leaves, making repeated casts useful beyond its paid draw ability. Havard’s April 17 Modern guide explains the shared combo engine: Emry, Lurker of the Loch, Sewer-veillance Cam, Grinding Station and a Mox can loop to mill the opponent.

Kappa CannoneerUrza’s Saga and Kappa Cannoneer give it a separate attack plan. We prefer that flexibility to treating every game as a race to assemble the loop. The sideboard adds 2 more Kappa Cannoneer, while its 3 Flusterstorm match TCG Contender’s recommendation against Dimir Tempo and control.

Cori-Steel CutterGrinding Station, Cori-Steel Cutter, Pyrite Spellbomb and the 3 Melded Moxite were absent from all 12 other recent Sewer-Cam Combo lists. The archetype itself has another recent result: Team QNO’s tournament report records third place on November 1, 2026.

Cirxi’s Blue Artifacts Label Conceals Saga Storm

Cirxi finished third at 6-2, beating boytriton’s Sultai Hogaak 2-1 before losing 0-2 to MatthewMurdock’s Eldrazi. The published Blue Artifacts label does not describe the cards: this is a Saga Storm build.

Cirxi’s complete Saga Storm list, published under the Blue Artifacts label.

Dark RitualThe 14-land list packs Dark Ritual and artifact mana alongside Infernal Tutor, Burning Wish and Tendrils of Agony. Ad Nauseam converts life into cards; Gaea’s Will opens the graveyard for another turn of casting. Burning Wish also gives access to the sideboard’s second Tendrils of Agony, so part of that sideboard is available during game 1.

The unusual-looking support card is 3 Giant’s Boulder. Each costs 1 mana, scries 2 on entry and can convert 1 mana into any colour. Its 7-mana sacrifice ability destroys a permanent, giving an otherwise mana-focused artifact a late use.

Dimir Elementals Wins Two Playoff Rounds

Omegauo’s 5-3 runner-up finish included 2-1 wins over mw_94gA’s Mardu Aggro and morris’s Mono-Green Landfall. indianpancake’s Selesnya Landfall took the final 2-1.

Omegauo’s complete Dimir Elementals main deck and sideboard from November 4, 2026.

Seasoned CryomancerThis list plays for attrition with discard, removal and graveyard resources. On turn 3, Seasoned Cryomancer can draw 2, discard 2 and stun creatures when nonlands are discarded. Overlord of the Balemurk mills 4 and recovers a non-Avatar creature or a planeswalker, turning the graveyard into a source of replacement threats.

Uldaros TheorixCasting the 6-mana Uldaros Theorix supplies the payoff: it copies up to one nonland graveyard card of each type, then lets you cast copies with a combined mana value of up to 6 for free. Permanents cast this way become tokens. We see a long-game plan here, rather than an Elemental deck built simply to curve out.

DeceitOmegauo was not the first pilot to post a result with the shell. Deck Scout’s League results list Boland at 5-0 on October 27, 2026, with another Dimir Elementals build using Deceit, Overlord of the Balemurk and The Theorist, Jace Beleren.
