The Winning Lists Keep the Core

kanister also won on October 27, 2026, going 8-0 in a 24-player Challenge 16. Then nk20 won the 51-player Challenge 32 on November 1, 2026, at 7-1, beating Affinity, Prowess and Jeskai Energy in the playoffs.

Primeval TitanThe strongest list-building signal is that reidq7 and nk20 registered identical 75s. Their 30-land main deck keeps 4 each of Primeval Titan and Scapeshift, alongside the established Amulet of Vigor, Arboreal Grazer, Spelunking and Urza's Saga core. The sideboard has 3 Dismember and 3 Trinisphere, plus 2 each of Ba Sing Se and Sowing Mycospawn.

reidq7’s October 27, 2026, winning list is identical to nk20’s November 1, 2026, winner.

ExploreWe favour this configuration as the starting point because it has repeated wins without cutting any of the archetype’s established staples. Its unusual inclusion is 1 Explore, present in 7.8% of the 77 other Amulet Titan lists in the 6-week comparison.

ScapeshiftThe alternatives change the margins. kanister ran 3 Scapeshift and 2 sideboard Trinisphere. Mistakenn’s seventh-place, 4-3 list on October 29, 2026, ran 3 Primeval Titan alongside Aftermath Analyst and Azusa, Lost but Seeking, then used 4 Consign to Memory, 2 Engineered Explosives and 2 Mystical Dispute in the sideboard.

Broodscale and Rakdos Midrange

In the 14-day MTGO snapshot available on November 3, 2026, Broodscale accounts for 14% of 812 decks and Rakdos Midrange for 11.1%. Those are Amulet Titan’s most consequential opponents, and its playoff results against them point in opposite directions.

Broodscale and Rakdos Midrange lead the 812-deck MTGO Modern sample, while Amulet Titan holds 5.3% across the full 14-day window.

Amulet Titan’s 6-week Top 8 playoff record against Broodscale is 7-2, including reidq7’s consecutive quarterfinal and semifinal wins on October 27, 2026. But Spellbinder.gg’s matchup tracking records 142 wins and 152 losses against Broodscale Combo, or 48.3% across 294 matches. We treat the pairing as a race, not a reason to choose Amulet Titan: 9 selected playoff matches are a small sample beside that broader record.

TrinisphereTCG Playbook’s strategy guide rates Broodscale Bloodchief even and recommends hands that threaten Primeval Titan early. Broodscale’s Boseiju and post-board Trinisphere attack your artifacts and nonbasic lands; Trinisphere also makes Summoner's Pact and low-X Green Sun's Zenith less effective.

DismemberThe guide brings in 3 Dismember and 2 Force of Vigor while trimming tutors and expensive creatures. The repeated winning list supplies all 3 Dismember but only 1 Force of Vigor, plus Bojuka Bog for Primeval Titan or Scapeshift to find. Your own Trinisphere has a role too: Postboard.gg’s matchup guide identifies it as effective against Ancient Stirrings and Kozilek's Command, while Amulet-driven ramp helps you play through the tax.

Rakdos Midrange is the worse recent result: Amulet Titan is 1-6 in Top 8 playoffs, including Mistakenn’s 0-2 quarterfinal loss on October 29, 2026. Affinity is 1-2, while Jeskai Energy is 2-0 and Blue Belcher is 1-0. Those small records make Rakdos Midrange the clearest concern, rather than establishing broad advantages against the others.

Paper Results Also Improved

Frank Karsten’s October 29 analysis for magic.gg gives Amulet Titan a 54.5% match win rate at 3.3% field share across the Regional Championships in Southeast Asia, Australia/New Zealand and South America. His calculation excludes mirrors, byes and draws. His October 15 analysis of 5 earlier Regional Championships had Amulet Titan at 49.9% and 3.2% share. The paper results are encouraging, but precede this MTGO jump.

The Next Full Week

Amulet Titan’s share ranged from 1.4% to 3.7% in the 5 weeks before the jump, so this is a sharp weekly increase rather than an uninterrupted climb. The incomplete week beginning November 2, 2026, has 5 Amulet Titan lists among 96 decks (5.2%), with no Top 8s yet. The next full week will show whether participation stays elevated after the 3 wins.
